  • WHAT WILL I FIND IN THIS FAQ PAGE?
    This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page will quickly answer questions you may have about attending any of the Hallyu Con 2023 Experience Sessions or events. For any other enquiries, please contact hallyu.enquiries@gmail.com.
  • WHO CAN ATTEND THE EVENT?
    Hallyu Con 2023 - Where Korea Meets You is an event open to everyone. Where applicable, tickets will be on sale for those 11+. Anyone under the age of 11 won't need to purchase a ticket to attend the event, but they will need a guardian who is 18+ and a ticket holder to attend with them. The guardian must purchase a ticket to attend. Please note that anyone under the age of 11 must stay with their guardian at all times whilst in the premises.
  • WHERE CAN I PURCHASE A TICKET?*
    Every experience session or event will require a ticket to guarantee attendance. The Hallyu Experience Sessions are free of charge but WILL REQUIRE pre-registration to RSVP. Places will be limited, so only those who register for a free ticket will be allowed to take part. Tickets are available through links in our website, social media or Eventbrite accounts. Please do NOT buy tickets from re-sellers or third parties as we cannot guarantee those tickets will be genuine (or have not been resold multiple times). Tickets can also be purchased here. *Please note that timings and the programme are subjected to changes.
  • CAN I ONLY GET INTO THE VENUE WITH MY E-TICKET?
    During all Experience Sessions, tickets will be checked upon arrival. For the Hallyu Con 2023 event on October 14 at Samsung KX, you will be given a wrist band according to your ticket band. Once at the venue, you may be asked to show your wristband. During either Experience Sessions or Hallyu Con 2023 event, you are allowed to exit the premises but will only allowed to re-enter by showing your ticket or wristband.
  • CAN I CANCEL OR REFUND MY TICKET FOR HALLYU CON 2023?
    In specific circumstances, you may cancel or refund your ticket for Hallyu Con where applicable. If you can not make an Experience Session or the Hallyu Con main event due to unforeseen circumstances, please email us at hallyu.enquiries@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
  • WHAT TYPE OF ID SHOULD I BRING?
    We accept passports, UK driver's licenses or provisional licenses and government recognised ID cards. Please note that all ID presented should be physical.
  • ARE THE PROGRAMME TIMES AVAILABLE?*
    The full programme will be shared by end of August for both the Hallyu Experience Sessions, taking place between 16 September and 13 October, and the Hallyu Con 2023 - Where Korea Meets You main event, taking place on Saturday 14 October. Set times will be shared at least 2 weeks before each event date. *Please note that timings and the programme are subjected to changes.
  • HOW DO I RECEIVE TIMING DETAILS FOR THE HALLYU EXPERIENCE SESSIONS?
    Those who pre-register for a free ticket for an Experience Session will be sent extra details and specific timings via email at least 2 weeks before the date for each experience. Otherwise, please contact hallyu.enquiries@gmail.com.
  • DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING FOR THE EXPERIENCE SESSION I TAKE PART IN?
    No, all equipment to ensure you make the most of the session will be provided by us. Some Experience Sessions, such as the dance workshops, may require you to bring specific clothing but, where applicable, you will be made aware of this via email in advance.
  • MAY I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO HALLYU CON 2023?
    You can take food and / or drinks onto site but it must only be consumed in the designated areas. Please note that you will be responsible for cleaning up your rubbish. Failing to do so may result in you being asked to leave the venue premises.
  • MAY I BRING ANY ALCOHOL TO THE EVENT?
    No, there won't be any alcohol sold at the venue and the festival is strictly a non-alcohol event. You cannot bring any liquid related to alcohol to the venue. Failing to do so may result in being asked to leave the venue premises.
  • MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHERS?
    We welcome media coverage at Hallyu Con 2023. Please send us your profile to hallyucon.pr@gmail.com and we will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
  • IMPORTANT NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
    When you attend an event or Experience Session of Hallyu Con, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Hallyu Con and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such recorded media. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
